In the world of modern design, the boundary between corporate branding and high art is increasingly blurring.
The project carried out by WEAVE IN studio for Viola Credit offices in Israel and around the world is living proof that a clear visual identity can be taken and given a material "soul," depth, and softness, without losing the architectural vision.
The Brief: A Unified Language on a Global Scale
The challenge presented to the studio was to create a series of unique textile artworks for the company's offices in its central hubs: Tel Aviv, London, and New York City.
The brief required the creation of artistic elements that would be an integral part of the building's design language, while maintaining brand values and a direct connection to Viola's visual identity. The goal was to produce a physical presence and visual depth that would connect all the company's branches worldwide under a single material narrative.
The Work Process: The creative process began with a deep dialogue with the iconic "V" shape from the company's logo, the project began by breaking down the geometric shape and rebuilding it using layers and thread.
Every thread integrated into the works underwent a hand-dyeing process, intended to achieve a precise match to the original brand colors. Using this personal technique allowed me to create an artistic interpretation of the logo one that is not just a "decoration" on the wall, but an element with a rich texture that cannot be ignored.
Early sketches defined the proportions and visual balance, ensuring that each piece would correspond with the clean lines of the company's offices.
Tailor Made: Customization at Its Best
For Viola Credit, art is not just aesthetics, but a way to convey power and quality. Each piece was designed as "Tailor Made" for the project's needs, with thought given to a composition that integrates into the space and complements the office furniture and lighting.
In the London and New York offices, the works provided a sense of continuity, the textile art served as a visual anchor that conveys the same sense of Quiet Luxury and organic warmth, whether they are in the heart of London or Manhattan.
Impact on the Space and Brand Strengthening
Introducing textiles into Viola's global workspaces created an immediate shift in the atmosphere.
The pieces provided warmth and softened the architectural lines, adding a layer of "soul" to commercial spaces that can sometimes feel cold.
Strengthening the brand was expressed in the ability to take the familiar logo and turn it into a nearly three dimensional object that maintains a dialogue with the space. The logo is no longer just "displayed" on the wall; it is experienced through the material, color, and handiwork.
Thank you to Viola Credit for the trust and the opportunity to create a cross-continental artistic language together.
